Events and Sponsorship

The MPT runs some fabulous and successful events which celebrate Freddie and reach new generations each year. We always welcome sponsors to partner with us in covering the cost of these events, which makes it possible for all funds raised through the event to go directly to the charities we partner with. We’ve worked with beauty, drinks, sports, lighting and sound equipment companies and received sponsorship from small and larger businesses and entrepreneurs alike.

Education and Awareness

We encourage all generations across the globe to stand up in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Education and Awareness is critical in this and there’s space for everyone to play their part.

Here are some ways in which you can partner with us in educating and raising awareness:

1. Raise your voice and make a difference. Share with us your stories of education, awareness and hope by tagging us on social media, and please follow our stories on:

   Together we can fight the stigma and bring awareness to others.


2. Protect yourself, know your status and encourage others to do the same. Too many people find out about their HIV status too late, let’s get the word out.


3. Learn about the wonderful work that the community-based organisations we support around the world are doing in fighting HIV/AIDS at the frontlines in countries around the world. Click here to see the charities we support.

Get Involved

We have the most creative (and sometimes) the craziest supporters who have done everything from skydiving to swimming in some pretty murky waters to raise funds for the MPT (and of course doing it in the style of Freddie along the way!).

We are open to your ideas for fundraising and of course, it’s all about participation!

Monthly Partnering

One of the greatest challenges charities face is not having a consistent flow of income to support the work done. Monthly partnership by individuals donations can change this.

The beauty of it is that large numbers of people giving small monthly amounts make a BIG difference.

For as little as the cost of a coffee a month, you can change a life.

In championing local efforts there are no high overheads and the money is used on the interventions themselves – test, treat, stay HIV free. Here are some examples:

£6 / $8 a month provides for a village in India to receive training in HIV/AIDS
£10 / $13 a month provides for training to HIV-Support Clubs in 30 schools in Madagascar
£25 / $33 a month covers the cost of training-up a peer-youth educator in Uganda
£50 /$65 per month covers the cost of an HIV/AIDS awareness radio broadcast session in Malawi
£100 / $130 per month facilitates 25 young women to receive life skills and livelihood training in Tanzania
